Rev. Dr. Victor Abba is a dedicated and compassionate leader who has been serving in ministry for over 25 years. Born in 1975 in Asheville, North Carolina, Pastor Harris developed a deep passion for God and a calling to ministry at an early age. Growing up in a family with strong Christian values, he was introduced to the teachings of Jesus Christ through his parents, who were both active members of their local church.
After high school, Pastor Harris attended Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia, where he earned a Bachelor's Degree in Theology. It was during his time at Liberty that he realized his calling to pastoral ministry, as he actively participated in campus ministry activities and served as a student leader. After graduating, he furthered his theological education by earning a Master's Degree in Divinity from Duke Divinity School.
In 2001, Pastor Harris was ordained into the ministry and began serving as an associate pastor at a church in Charlotte, North Carolina. His deep faith and genuine care for people quickly earned him the respect and admiration of his congregation. Over the years, he has served in various roles within the church, including leading youth programs, organizing outreach initiatives, and providing pastoral care to members in need.
In 2010, Pastor Harris was called to lead Redeemer Community Church, where he has served as the senior pastor for the past 15 years. Under his leadership, the church has grown both spiritually and numerically. He has focused on building a church that is not only centered on worship but also committed to community outreach, social justice, and discipleship. His sermons are known for being biblically grounded, thought-provoking, and relatable to people from all walks of life.
Pastor Harris is a passionate advocate for social justice, and he regularly speaks out on issues such as poverty alleviation, racial reconciliation, and mental health awareness. He is also deeply committed to global missions, having led several mission trips to countries in Africa and Central America, where his church has been involved in building schools, providing medical care, and offering support to impoverished communities.
In his personal life, Pastor Harris is married to his college sweetheart, Rebecca, and they have three children, Sarah, Ethan, and Olivia. The family enjoys spending time together outdoors, reading, and volunteering in their community. Pastor Harris is also an avid writer and has authored two books on spiritual growth and leadership.
